High Ranks:

King- King is the highest rank of all, although almost as equal as the queen. Everyone must listen to this rank for he is the king and also known as the alpha.

Queen- Next highest of every rank is the queen, mate to the king and also alpha. She trys to help make decisions with the king, and when the king is gone she is 100% in charge of the pack.

Proti- These wolves are second in charge and are aka betas. If the king and queen have gone off they are left in charge, by following the lead proti. They help the king make decisions by telling the queen or personally telling the king, if allowed. If problems are moving through the pack they are to be reported to and then it will move up to the king.

Messengers travel to send messages to other packs or certain wolves and help the proti's make decisions, they are usually always in camp unless they are sending a message. Helpers are one of the busiest wolf ranks, they follow the lead of messengers and they report there findings to them and the protis which moves on up to the king. They help member that have problems, keep track of the food amount and were they live, water supply, help pick herbs for the healers, find new territory if some is there, find new members to join, give messages to messengers sometimes, help take care of pregnant, sick wolves, and pups, and they also check for danger near the camp or were a wolf is going. They are first to be told of problems and they must try to fix it but if bad enough they will get help from a higher rank and if really bad it should reach up to the king.

*Remember, all wolves no matter the age, start out a novice. The younger wolves will test out their skills in all avalible starting ranks(low & some mid ranks).  Older wolves(adults) are quickly put to the test of what rank they want. You cannot have a lead or higher rank until you prove you are good with your current rank (if your rank has a lead rank.)

Ex:
A wolf wants to become a tracker.
That wolf would need to be put to the test by the king & queen or the lead rank.
That test could be a hidden object that the wolf has to track down.
Pretty easy considering that this isn't real and we can't really test your tracking skills.

A ambusher would have to take down s much as he could, kill as much as he could, take down a elk mono e mono or with a pack-mate, etc.
